People have their "types." "Oh, he's not my type." "Oh, she's not my type." I know that I like smart, funny, independent minded boys. I don't care much if they play sports, but they should at least sort of move around. And they care about how they dress, but not to a fault. I just realized that these are the expectations I have of myself. When you're attracted to someone, do you want someone who is your ideal image of yourself? That's clearly not always true. But what if you removed genered socialization? Do you also look for in another person those traits that you admire but that society would not reward you for displaying because of your gender?

Just some idle thoughts.

Sometimes a circle seems like a direction.
